Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using SkinDiary, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SkinDiary.

To use SkinDiary, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain only one account per person
• Choose a unique display name that does not impersonate others or violate any third-party rights
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential — you are responsible for all activity under your account

You must notify us immediately at support@skindiary.io if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

SkinDiary is designed to help you:

• Track skincare products and build personalized morning and evening routines
• Log daily skin check-ins, including skin mood, notes, and completed routine steps
• Take and organize progress photos to track your skin journey over time
• Discover products and routines shared by the community (when available)
• Create skincare journeys to document your experience with specific products or routines

You agree to use the App only for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You retain full ownership of all content you create within SkinDiary, including product reviews, check-in notes, photos, and journey entries.

If you choose to share content through community features, you grant SkinDiary a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the App for the purpose of operating the community features. You may revoke this license at any time by removing the shared content or making it private.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to post or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive
• Constitutes harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind
• Contains misleading medical advice, false claims about products, or unverified health recommendations
• Is spam, promotional, or commercially misleading
• Infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks

SkinDiary is NOT a medical device, medical application, or a substitute for professional healthcare advice.

The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any skin condition, disease, or medical issue. SkinDiary is a personal tracking and organizational tool designed to help you maintain skincare habits and observe patterns over time.

Always consult a qualified dermatologist, physician, or healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information or observations made within SkinDiary.

SkinDiary offers two tiers:

• Free: Includes up to 5 products, basic routine tracking, daily check-ins, and progress photos
• Plus ($4.99/month or $49.99/year): Unlimited products, unlimited routines, advanced analytics, skincare journeys, community access, barcode scanning, data export, and priority support

Subscription terms:

• All subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Account Settings > Subscriptions
• No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period
• Pricing may change with reasonable notice — existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect

You may delete your account at any time from within the App via Settings. Upon account deletion:

• All your personal data, including your profile, products, routines, check-ins, photos, and journeys, will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days
• This action is irreversible and data cannot be recovered
• If you have an active Plus subscription, you must cancel it separately through your device's Account Settings before deleting your account to avoid continued billing

The SkinDiary name, logo, visual design, user interface, and all related branding are the exclusive property of SkinDiary and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any of our branding or design elements without prior written permission.

Product names, brand names, and trademarks that appear within the App belong to their respective owners. SkinDiary does not claim ownership of any third-party product information or branding.

SkinDiary is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

SkinDiary is not liable for:

• Any skin reactions, irritation, or adverse effects resulting from products or routines tracked or discovered through the App
• Loss of data due to technical failures, device issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• Service interruptions, downtime, or temporary unavailability of the App
• Any decisions made based on information or data displayed in the App

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkinDiary's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of the App is limited to the total amount you have paid to SkinDiary in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably determine that you have violated these Terms of Service. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:

• Posting prohibited content as defined in Section 4
• Engaging in harassment or abusive behavior
• Attempting to exploit, hack, or compromise the App
• Creating multiple accounts or impersonating others
• Any other violation of these Terms

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of SkinDiary after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
